Volleyball: Chaps survive test, close regular season

PFLUGERVILLE – Although the Chaps had to work a little longer than usual, their final District 25-5A contest may have served as an ideal primer for the playoffs.

Football footnotes: Chaps continue impressive streak

With the win over Anderson Friday, Westlake extended one of the program’s proudest streaks.
The Chaps clinched a playoff spot for the 21st consecutive season, the longest streak among Class 5A schools in Texas history. Westlake last missed the playoffs in 1986, when it went 2-8 overall and 1-6 in District 14-5A.
